Dr. Anh-Dai Nguyen is originally from San Jose, California, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Scripps-Mercy Hospital and Clinics in San Diego, California. After residency, Dr. Nguyen returned to Wisconsin to complete her Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Adult Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Currently, she resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, two sons and a daughter.
Dr. Nguyen’s vision for her practice is summarized by the following verses found in Philippians 2:3–5 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility, consider others better than yourself. Each of you should look not only to your own interest, but also to the interest of others. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.”
That is why Dr. Nguyen strives to provide competent, compassionate care to each and everyone of her patients. She believes that excellent care begins by being attentive to the needs of her patients. Since her own family members suffer from multiple allergic diseases including asthma, eczema, urticaria, food allergies, and hayfever, she can empathize with the difficulties her patients and their families undergo. Therefore, she strives to work with her patients to improve their quality of life.
